MEDKITDOC

MedKitDoc improves access to medical care for chronically ill and elderly patients. Combining certified medical devices, a digital health app, and a fast-growing network of local doctors, MedKitDoc enables patient-centered, data-driven, and high-quality remote treatments in Germany.

At the core of MedKitDoc’s digital health solution is a set of certified medical devices called ‘MedKit’ consisting of multiple diagnostic tools with Bluetooth connectivity to transmit vital parameters in real-time to a physician. In a multi-layered approach, patients can chose either to be connected to their local family doctor via app or to rely on a network of specialists provided by MedKitDoc.

Thanks to its holistic approach MedKitDoc prevents unnecessary hospitalization and offers high-quality, data-based and timely medical care for serious and chronic diseases. Founded in 2020, MedKitDoc has already established collaborations with more than 50 care facilities in Germany (including Korian, Deutsche Fachpflege and Curata).

“Regarding our aging population, there is an urging need for innovation to ease a strained healthcare system. Our combination of easy-to-use hard- and software connected to local practitioners compensates for the weaknesses of telemedicine 1.0.”

Dorian Koch, CEO MedKitDoc
