Pioneering in a growing but still mostly offline market, audibene was founded in 2012 as online provider of expert hearing care, appealing to younger and more tech-savvy first-time users. Only three years later, the startup expanded to the US market as Hear.com and was acquired by the Sivantos Group, a world-wide leading hearing aid manufacturer.
